I like them and eat them sometimes but I find them a bit too filling for regular consumption.
Try this. Scalloped Carrot.

I just invented something.
I wrapped a slice of processed Imperial cheese all the way around a warm chicken fillet and ate it as finger food. I'm calling it the Chicken Niev.
^ Genius
Unlike Lulu putiing tin foil in a microwave
It tasted good too. Blokes food but bloody tasty blokes food.
The next stage of development is to make up some batter. Shove a stick up the chook and dip thrice in batter then get yourself round to Lulu's to deep fry em - a la Corn Dogs. You could just take the cheese wrapped Chook round to Lu's and supervise the batter prep coz id not trust him on the batter front - he gets too creative if you know what i mean.
Or
Bacon Wrap the Cheese wrapped Chook and fry
on sale everywhere
As soon as I get back to Thailand (next week) I'm going to dig the portable oven out and see what it is. The wife was given it as a present when we bought our (would you believe) wall oven.
I am intrigued and want to know how to use it and how good it is...
^^^They always use a chook in the advertising pics that's cooked perfectly. FFS would someone put a fucking chicken in one and cook it then post pics so we can see if it's bullshit already!
^And sitting on a bed of fresh lettuce!
Knobends.
Passed this so chucked it in the trolley.
Kid can use it to practice/learn with.
Might pick up some chicken wings or something later for her to start off with.
Thai book shops are full of photo-heavy cook books, will see if there's one for convection ovens. Will see what she can come up with.
Headworx, will get her to do a full chicken in a few days when I can be bothered buying the stuff.
Probably just get her to brush it and the veg, then s+p.
Here's a book to get you started!
Welcome to the Otto club, Luigi.
I see yours comes with a free chicken and cooked salad. Lucky bugger.
We have quite a few.

Amen.
Will get some ribs for the kid to do as well as the wings.
Same honey based marinade, she can do the wings tonight and let the ribs marinade for 24 hours, and she can slow bake them for 4 hours tomorrow.
She says she doesn't like whisky, the nutter, but I may be able to sneak some into the marinade while she's picking her nose.
