Lol…mm![]()
I'm pretty much dry Sunday to Thursday these days but on Friday night I let my hair down.
Last night was a few Leos with my Welsh mate, my first drink since last Saturday on Soi 4. One thing I have discovered about drinking is that not only are you drinking, it also makes you eat crap.
Last night I found some leftover cottage pie in the fridge to eat with my Mont Clair night cap.
But after a drink, that healthy stuff just doesn't hit the spot. I followed up with cottage pie sandwiches and I'm not being pretentious with my open-topped sarnies... that's just the influence from working too long on the Continent.
A top tip here... use frozen bread as it holds together and supports the weight of the cottage pie topping. I'm sure it thaws out OK in the stomach.
See how perfectly level that bread remained.
And here's another problem with drinking. You finally go searching for the wife's sausage roll. She bought a bag of these things yesterday and I knew there was one left.
