... must have been the 7-11 staff.
They may be called something else in Seattle.
Thank you kindly Sir.
Added a small amount of diced jalapeno to the pan with the bacon. Small enough amount to add flavor, without overpowering.
Works well.
Nice photo presentation, but for practicality you need to build all over one half or you get filling slide happening when you close the sandwich.
Is your bacon hot, warm or room temp when you build?
IMO, lashings of a good salty butter instead of mayo, every time.
A room temp soft poached egg is a nice alternative to avocado but doesn't really work as an addition to avo.
All I know is that there isn't a single BLT - past, present or future - that can't be improved by the addition of one ingredient: more bacon.
Or more butter
Not so quick n sleazy 5km, then home for the daily.
Tops letting the side down. No guac and no avocados. Only had a 'creamy guacamole flavored dip'.... Hmmmm.
Will have to do until I pick up some avocados and make me own.
As will the crap bread.
Slathered on both sides of lightly toasted Farmhouse and on ze bacon.
Works well with a cuppa.
Will do, cheers. Don't recall ever seeing it around in Bkk.
Well, Bangkok is an outer suburb of Pattaya so you might need to look around a bit. Good to see you've got electricity up there now, hang in there, running water can't be far off
Yeah yeah yeah.
It's hardly Timbuktu.... Uummannaq... Khorat...
Ripped basil and cilantro with guac.
Experimentation working well.
Speaking of variable experimentation, one could take these similar ingredients [minus the bread] and create a BLT salad, of sorts.
Couple of nicely sliced tomatoes and avocado set upon a rough bed of whole basil leaves, accompanied by a shavings of real mozzarella and rough cut bacon crumbles.
Drizzled with a homemade dijon-dominate vinaigrette.

Wow!
Finally made the cut.
I'm humbled, Dilly.
