Should we watch what we eat ?

Doc told me to watch what I eat so I'm having a porthole and webcam fitted to my stomach!

Unlike previous generations of permanent hunger we are living in an era of obesity esp in newly wealthy nations.

Of course some campaigners seem to have gone OTT, like Sofia Hagen who opposes 'fat shaming'

Mindless consumptive, accumulative, and wasteful cultures.

Eating is essential to sustain life. To counter the effects of consumption, exercise is required to burn off unused calories.

Ignoring this simple equation would lead to obesity and early death.

I drink alcohol, I smoke and I enjoy my grub. I also get a buzz from regular exercise and ignoring the periodic diet fads.
By rights I should have died about ten years ago.
Sadly dear reader, I am still full of vim and vigor. Every day is a bonus.
