Thread: TB's Healthy Dinners

My plan is to cook at home during the week. I generally eat quite healthy, but I'm going to try extra hard to cook healthy meals for the next while. I'll post what I made and some steps. Feel free to add your own, but I will update this regularly.

First meal I made tonight was just something out of my own mind with things I like to eat. I'll call it the

Asian Salmon Noodle Dish.


Chopped up a bunch of vegetables including red peppers, shiitake mushrooms, snow peas, and broccoli (I was missing the tofu which I like).



(Yes, I do like to cook in my bra at times)

Step 2
Grill my salmon until done.



Step 3

Boil noodles (Hong Kong Chow Mein style).




Step 4

Mix the noodles in with the vegetables, add asian dressing.




step 5 - put noodle/veggie mix in a bowl and add cooked salmon on top.



Delicious! All I was missing is the tofu which I'll get for next time.

Personally, I prefer to use some sort of Pan to cook with ...

... except for Peter naturally

No leftovers, but I do have noodles left I'll bag for tomorrow. I want to cut down on carbs, so some nights i'll eat carbs (couscous mostly), but not all nights. I will make chicken tomorrow..some sort of dish.. probably with couscous . I will try to eat out no more than 2 meals on the weekends.

I don't bother with cooking much and the mrs is too lazy to do owt for me, generally it's something frozen.

Not really, david. I cook my own concoctions with a mix of Asian/western. My grandmother and mother are fantastic cooks.. it comes naturally to them.
