You have a similar food style to a previous poster, Joe.

^^Meatball Sub (and yes, Subs are considered being sandwiches in some parts of the world )

Your Lasagne sandwich idea makes a lot of sense though, I mean who doesn't like Lasagne and a crusty roll. I think it'd work!

I was watching one of those man v food programmes recently and he was munching on a Chicago style "Italian" beef sandwich (double dipped into the sauce):

    Manwiches-20140506-292286-homemade-italian-beef-als

It looked a messy fucker, but I thought I'd give it a go. Easy peasy in the pot for 7 or 8 hours then shred the meat as the sauce has reduced.

I added some cheese to it as well and while it's definitely not one for a first date, it ticks the manwich boxes and I will be revisiting it again in a drunken stupor this weekend.

So we should expect you back in the NFL thread then?

Maybe you should be a mate and invite Chitty and Jackoff to the party? Us horrible yanks will be waiting although I must say with a touch of pride we will have a new president.

Italian beef is a very American sandwich. Loved by Americans especially the Bears fans. Da bears...

Oh by the way that looks like a good start but you need to add crushed red pepper and hot giardiniera or at least pepperoncini's.

^^ Chitty's been on a roll lately. He'll be taking on the board by himself.

Unfortunately, there are a few things I can't get hold of although I do have my own pickled and shredded chilies, Thai style. They'd work, but I didn't bother with them today.

You were on a role the other day in the NFL thread yourself. The mods shit canned it as usual. Maybe you have no recollection.

So you were just on the piss. Must have been at a bar that refused to put your soccer on the telly.

    Reuben Sandwich
So today I got Oat Nut Bread, sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese , and thousand island dressing .
First I boiled the sauerkraut for 20 min in it's juice and butter, I find the store bought Kraut to ne undercooked and too crunchy.
I toasted the Corned Beef , toasted the bread. Bread, corned beef, sauerkraut Swiss Cheese placed in the oven until cheese was melted, remove from oven then Thousand island dressing on top of cheese
and the rest is Manwich nirvana
Dont know what happened here, but as much as I tried several times, it would only post the picture as a thumb nail.
