British chips are great, far better than the processed stuff we get in our fast food joints. We do have new burger joints making nice fries now though. But what happened to the Brits and hashbrowns. That or those are a sacrilege to real hash browns..

No doubt that bread looks good I'll give you that. Put that lasagna on a plate on its own and one piece of the bread on the side and it's still too many carbs for my "diet*." But dammit it looks tasty.

Well it is McDonalds that are to blame. We don't have hash browns traditionally in the UK. It is an American invention, a twist on a potato rosti perhaps? Anyway, McDonalds introduced them as above, and then the mass food producers copied them. So technically it is America's fault (of course, and I hope you know and respect me enough to have expected that statement )

They were bought this morning, from a Walmart owned store (American) I was passing especially to put into this SANDWICH for this thread.

Can't really see the Black Pudding there, but you can on the other shot.
