^ I for one dont eat surimi, having known what it really is for a long while now.

It is now possible to turn such leftovers and other raw materials into a rich source of high-value edible proteins with a wide range of attractive uses and considerable commercial potential.
Surimi is one such product – a popular fish-based food product specifically intended to mimic the texture, consistency and colour of the meat of lobster, crab and other shellfish.
To be sold as high-value products, the edible proteins in fish and shellfish must be processed with the utmost care.

Sort of the cheap hotdog of seafood..

    • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise.
    • 1/4 cup mustard (Creole mustard if possible)
    • 1 Tbsp sweet paprika.
    • 1-2 teaspoons Cajun or Creole seasoning.
    • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish.
    • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (dill or sweet, your preference)
    • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (preferably Tabasco)
    • 1 large clove garlic, minced and smashed.
    • 1 can Prego marinara sauce

...definitely going to try this out...

I'm an idiot for not photographing the experience, but I had what I sincerely consider to be the best sandwich I've ever eaten at Wembley Stadium late last year.

There I was, quietly weaving my way through the half-time melee in search of sustenance and a gulp or two of anything containing alcohol, when I spotted a venue in the corner that positively glistened... as if beckoning me come hither. Snared in its magnetic pull I found myself amid the throng, queuing for what seemed like a good three minutes before I was served a pulled pork sandwich with real-life crackling and red cabbage coleslaw. It... was... PHENOMENAL. In fact, myself and my comrades spoke of little else for the rest of the day ("The crackling was the best bit though..." "Yeh, but the red cabbage just gave it that edge" "Why did we come to Wembley again?" "Fuck knows, but the pulled pork just melted") and it actually got jotted down as a highlight in my 2017 journal.

No you're not. It seems only on TD and FB is anything of value only if it has a piccy.
Are the readers so bereft of imagination and reading comprehension that a description is not sufficient?

Correct Bob. Just another burger from the burger man. Nothing wrong with a burger; hell, there are about 1000000000000000000000007 threads from topper already on Burgers. But they are not a Manwich. Actually, as the burger is in a roll, and not two slices of bread, it's not a stinking Sandwich either.

    Burgers - I shit em

Can't stand crisp sarnies with thick-cut crisps. If they're not walkers cheese and onion between two slices of warburtons toastie you're a bloody pervert! I guarantee you that somewhere in the northern quarter some goateed southern twat is selling exactly that at 7.50 a shot.

As Sid has offered already, any type of burger [untoasted, at that] "bun" is never suitable and certainly doesn't qualify as an accommodating bread for a proper manwich.
Any sort of creation that is referred to as an English Muffin is also foul to any proper manwich makings.

In five pages of this shit, there have been some highly pathetic examples of what passes as a man's man sandwich.
    Poovery eats.

^^^Yet, with your claimed culinary background (LMFAO!) you offer nothing in this thread but the typical and perpetual bullshit you sprout while trying to maintain some ridiculous air of knowing more than everyone else. I'd call it pathetic, but it's way past that point...

Is putting crisps/chips/whatever the fuck you call them on sangers a bit of a Brit quirk?

Can't say I've come across it before.

Yeah, never been into them, but it does occur in NZ; the "chip butty" (or something like that).
