    A burger IS a sandwich.

I know where you're coming from, but it's blurring the lines if you discount a burgerish construction. Meat, pickles, melted cheese between bread.
    I think it's a manwich.
Again...people should define what a manwich is.
I've suggested it's a carnivore's sandwich; meat between bread, and bread that's not gay pumpernickle....but obviously Kentuckey rye bread (or whatever it was called) counts as real bread.

We require stern and standardized definitions - manwich [whatever the fuck that is]

    You'll be forgiving old Top.
He might post up his latest burger creation in the proverbial casserole-themed thread.....

Manwiches are mostly a load of random uncomplimentary ingredients that taste disgusting together.

    Just go to subway.

    Plan B...Mini Manwich

Thought I'd drag out my Kodak Youth camera and give it a shot.

All this manwich/sandwich talk gave me some powerful cravings...so...Had to run out to get the wife some medicine. While waiting for the scrip to fill, swung by the deli to see what was available. No pastrami there except "turkey pastrami" WTF?

So I settled for some salami, thin sliced virginia ham, sliced imported swiss emmental and a loaf of pumpernickle boule. Had the hellmanns, the iceberg lettuce and a three pepper sweet and spicy relish on hand.

Had two of these "minis" and I was full. I ate one before I took the pic. No fancy plates or crochet placemats. Us blue collar oiks make do...

    cravings satisfied...for now.

...folks who work in the Gulf will be familiar with these franken products: turkey ham, turkey pastrami and turkey bacon...chemicalized pork flavoring for the pig-deprived...

I never claimed anything to be mine that wasn't. The salmon pics were examples of what REAL wild salmon looks like. I never claimed I made that dish FFS. It was clearly the work of a pro. Pseudo the tin foil nutter started that lie. Not a surprise from a guy who thinks lizard people run the world and that Bill Gates is a eugenicist.

    Now back MANWICH business...

And no I did not draw or make that sandwich.

^^I was wondering about those myself AO...can anything with seafood be included on a "Man-wich" list?

    What about gyros?

I'm not a big fan of lamb though...not much on meatball sandwiches either.

    Philly Cheesesteaks?

    Oyster and shrimp? Interesting.

I like both those but never even thought about having them with bread/on a sandwich before.

^ They make the best sandwich spread as well. Gotta love New Orleans for its cuisine.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise.
    • 1/4 cup mustard (Creole mustard if possible)
    • 1 Tbsp sweet paprika.
    • 1-2 teaspoons Cajun or Creole seasoning.
    • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish.
    • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (dill or sweet, your preference)
    • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (preferably Tabasco)
    • 1 large clove garlic, minced and smashed.

    Nope, not tried those either.

I absolutely love me some seafood but I'm a bit particular about how I eat it - usually it's got to be on its own.

That being said I'd defo give either of those two a crack.
