The rugby today, so I stocked up on Manwich foods...

    Got some nice looking ham:

& some cheese, chicken roll stuff and bagels (I also have some fresh chicken breast and nice sausages to cook if I'm in the mood):

If the Pig has African Swine Flu, it would have died and I'd be fairly sure Korea wouldn't allow the resale of said meat.

At this stage the disease cannot be transmitted to humans.

Does African swine flu affect humans?

It does not cause disease in humans.
ASFV is endemic to sub-Saharan Africa and exists in the wild through a cycle of infection between ticks and wild pigs, bushpigs, and warthogs.
Now, that does raise the question ... is Bettyboo human?

    ^ à fine looking steakwich.
I'd go fried onions, mushrooms, cheese and HP sauce though over the salad.

But a Manwich all the same

I don't like to, but gotta agree with Dilly:

    Looks great, and I would.

But, I'd prefer cooked onions. &, if I'm being fussy, as it's a sanwich, I'd probably give the beef a bit more time to cook. But, that's not detracting from the Mandwich, it's a good 'un

Looks great HW! HP/A1 sauce would have been a great addition or a large dollop spicy mustard.

Indeed it does. I made a similar sandwich with the left over London broil I grilled recently.

Actually brisket is from the other side of the cow. Interesting knowledge...

I'm going to revisit Rallis (Rallis - Superb Greek Food)and ask them about their supply chain. They had some beautiful ribs going and if they can get ribs like that, I should be able to score a brisket or flank steak.

TBH it wasn't what was originally planned. I was hungry and suddenly had the urge for a steak sanga, no patience involved. Was going to be just steak with caramelized onions and BBQ sauce but I didn't feel like waiting for onions to cook. The steak was straight out of the fridge into the skillet (no-no #1) and I had no patience to rest it either (no-no #2). Will do another one in the next week with better planning, just steak and onions.

Brisket is getting some airplay above, my favorite rib-shack had Brisket deals on today:

^At least 10 minutes, more like 15 to caramelize onions properly.

As planned, with a little more time put into cooking the onions than the 1 minute KW recommends .

Ribeye, caramelized onions, BBQ sauce, bread & butter.

When I seen the first picture I was envious as it looks so nice BUT then I seen the second picture and realised the man is a cannibal eating raw meat.
I can't handle meat that has red (raw) meat showing.
