Still have 1/2 one left. Might give it to Chitty, he can put it in his Thai Tapas thread.

    Tayto Monster Munch (Ireland)[edit]

    Main article: Mighty Munch
In Ireland, the major potato crisp and corn snack brand Tayto made a spicy flavoured corn snack with the name "Monster Munch". Upon the movement of Walkers into the Irish market in the 1990s, the name "Monster Munch" was purchased from Tayto. Thereafter, Tayto changed the name of their snack to "Mighty Munch" to differentiate between the Tayto and Walker snacks.

    Manwich.

    An idiomatic noun?
    Vernacular slang?
    Term of corporate copyright?

^, Hmmm, I don't know. Just Wiki'ed it as your pic is nothing like the pumpernickel my mum used to make and it turns out that these days there are extra leaveners added and wheat flour too, making it a lighter bread than what was traditional.
Also, my mum didn't bake it but put it in a sealed tin and boiled it for ages.
But, it seems you're referring to a latter day recipe, so sorry. I can't comment that this modern pumpernickel isn't a man bread as I've never tried it.
    Traditional...not a man bread.

Carnegie Deli an institution for 50 years, sadly since closed. Pastrami on rye with the great cole slaw on the side. But a biggy..

Yeah I'm talking about Yank versions. I'm sure we've managed to stuff it up. Check this "artisan" out though. You'll love it I'm sure...

That's not real pumpernickel. That's a rye and wheat loaf. Much tastier than real pumpernickel.

^^See the "artisan" in above video. he references Old Milwaukee rye. I guess that's what I really meant instead of pumpernickle.
