Hmmm, It's been many years, but a brown stamp is for pet food or fertiliser grade meat in NZ if I recall. Above carcass may have been pilfered.

Without being an expert, I would suspect sweet fruits.
Obviously, the demographics are somewhat different in Pattaya, but it's pretty much all I've been able to get from predominantly Muslim butchers and supermarkets over the years in Asia (espesh in Malaysia) unless you're in a western place. Have you tried a Halal gaff?
I like them both, but some locals complain about the smell of mutton. Of course it smells- it's fucking food, you plank! Now go back to that stinking dried fish you were chucking down your neck...
