No, Burger King as said, and Carls Jr do though.
There's a new cake shop and bakery opened in Jomtiem now called O Delices that gets some rave reviews
Its behind that Tinnies pie shop and you have to walk past a couple of Gay massage parlours to get to it.
Apparently the Thai men who work in them scream at you across the road 'welcome' and 'handsome man' like the Thai female masseurs do.
So if you can bring us a couple of eclairs back it would be much appreciated

    I'm with Chitty on this.

He's got kids, budget conscious ... all good.

It's not haute cuisine FFS, it's 'fun food' ... something we lose sight of when posting food pics.

The poor little fuckers are still walking back from a Saudi stadium in Manchester.

Hopefully he's managed to hitch a ride back down South with the Saints fans and doesnt tell them how close his 6-0 prediction came

Indeed David, as you well know.

Tip for non-shifters: Go in the morning and all the horses-hoof bars aren't yet open. Or go in the evening like Dill, who seems to know a lot about the goings on and being cat-called there .

The pastries are very good though...

Come back Dillinger, we miss your sense of humour.

Indulged in a £12 burger the other night!

    Ruddy hell it was good!

    The beef brisket burger....

I enjoy a good burger every once in a while but i cant get good ground beef here in Thailand (Khon Kaen), I have a meat grinder and tried making my own from beef I got at Macro, but it had a funny, gamy taste. Back in the US I always bought my ground beef at the store already made 80% , so I have no experience making my own.
I would appreciate any advice about making my own here in Thailand.

Get to Macro, they have an Australian Wangu ground beef. I hope you mean 20% fat. The Wangu is about 20-25% fat content and really nice. I had given up on Thai beef as well. Seems Mendip found pre made patties, the Wangu is a 250 gram package so two nice burgers..

The shop assistants must have a challenge on their hands when the farang seniors visit in Thailand.

    Thank you for that.
I will look for it. Is it in the frozen beef section?

If you can't get ingredients of suitable quality where you live, just order them from somewhere like Paleo Robbie or Passion Delivery. If I didn't live in Pattaya there'd be a cold-box arriving with things like quality steak and mince and burger patties at least once a month!
