I must admit it was damn reasonable.
But what's with all this " smashed " burger mallarky??
One must crush it down in the pan and build it up adding cheese and stuff in between.
I chose gherkins and cheese.
One triple smashed burger I had last week was cheese just cheese in between.
I goes in the supermarket tonight and on burger packaging they're announcing "smashed" burger, when it is clearly just thin burgers.
So can somebody please explain this new "phenomenon " of ruddy "smashed" burger???
It's a burger ffs!
Shalom
I don’t what what the “smashed” thing is about either. I thought that is just how you normally cooked a fresh burger in a frypan.
Burgers are pre-formed patties. A smash burger starts off like a big meatball and is pressed while cooking.
A smashed burger increases the surface area of the burger, which allows more of the maillard reaction to occur. This means more delicious crispy bits and more flavour.
Check out Smash Daddy's next time yer along Huay Keaw. Just past the Shell gas station outbound.
