I went to see a friend of mine on Xmas Eve once. She was spatchcocking a turkey!! Her husband said that, cooking it that way meant they got all the good bits!!
They slow roasted it in the oven!! I think. I wasn't invited, she was my husband's ex-wife and her new husband was his ex-best friend!!
Yup!! But we were all quite good friends by then. Hubby rewired their house for them. And the ex-best friend organised his wake and paid for it when he died.
I think that year I had the in-laws coming over. Which was a disaster.
