    Becoming a mincer.

Will start mincing soon enough, better to be in full control of what goes into one's mince, than not, really.

Rather a manual one than an electric one.

You see plastic shite around the place for a few hundred baht.

fok that shite, will probably last as long as England's European Championship.

    That's more like it.

Has anyone bought one here? Do those metal utensil shops that you see around the place that seem chock full of old metal things, cobwebs and old semi-dressed people with missing teeth usually stock them?

On another note, I presume they are a ballache and a half to clean afterwards.

We had one exactly like that, if memory serves me right it was 900 Baht from a local hardware store. It was used with mucho gusto when we used to chop up piggies. It weighed a ton and seemed indestructible.

Yes, I bought one years ago. Fock knows where it is now though. It did an OK job. Cleaning was easy as it came all came apart easily (unscrews) so you could wash it and put it back together again.

    Good.

Hope the maid does't lose a few fingers.

Unscrewing and dismantling it after every use seems a bit like post-copulation hugs n chat, the good part's done, having to hang around and work is just a major con.

But it's worth it if you're a true mincer...

It is a necessity if you want to use it again next week.

I've got a decent sized electric one with all the bells and whistles.

    Proper, mans mincer!

Outside the doors of Macro Rangsit.

Big enough for doing mince for burgers, tacos, chili, small enough that one's nuts won't fit in should I ever be Out-Luigi'd.

A darned sight easier to clean n'all.

gotta oil it up after cleaning.

Then clean the oil off before using.

then clean all the parts after mincing, and then oil it up again for storage.

Think I'll just buy the mince from tesco.
