Almost any veggy Indian dish is a dish that meat eaters will enjoy.

Yeah you are right with this one, being that a lot of indians are in fact predominately vegetarian, they make some mean food!

Grilled portobellas stuffed (topped) with ricotta and spinach is a fav of mine, though finding portobellas is a touch iffy in Asia. Aspargus grilled with butter and garlic goes great with them.

Bolognaise made with coursely chopped mushrooms and zuchini

Asparagus in garlic butter goes well with more asparagus in garlic butter too. Grate some parmesan over that and im yours. Amazing.

Ok, firstly . . . I did make the dish . . . and everyone wolfed it down.

Secondly . . . you're English. Why can you cook?

    Thirdly . . . you need a tan.

But seriously. I did attempt it, albeit with a few alterations. I used vegan cheddar style cheese (but kept the brie and didn't tell my youngest). No fresh thyme so used sage instead - same citric family, used two eggs in the mixture and only used one layer of pastry on the top of the dish . . . because . . . (I didn't pay attention to the video :sad)

My pictures look very little like your video of the finished product . . . but here goes:

. . . and because I didn't follow your guidelines to the letter I had quite a bit of filling left over which I made into a non-potato type of Rösti

Thank you very much, please keep some non-meat dishes coming (we're pescatarian so seafood is cool as well!)

That looks awesome! Looks like you did a great job! I love it when people give my dishes a go, even if some substitutions are necessary. I will post a new thread of a fish dish that is pretty adventurous but is amazing (no need to get all cheffy with it like i do) but if you are up for the challenge.....

Haha a tan in England? Not very likely! Maybe you will have to invite me to yours for a couple of weeks

You'd start to look like Dill . . . although it is quite healthy

Worked well, thanks Chef. I made 2, one with blue cheese, one with brie.

Another amazing one! I like the sound of blue cheese in it! But i always want bacon with blue cheese, not sure the vegetarians would agree...
