Is there a way for me to continue to lose weight while still drinking beer?

Wouldn't it be a better world, if chocolate cake, pizza, and beer were diet foods, and celery and brussel sprouts were fattening?
If that were the case would we be eating celery ice cream and would women have cravings for celery bars prior to that time of the month?
