I experimented with the Daily Express "5 words to guarantee success in Wordle". "Guarantee" is an exaggeration - the 5 words use all the letters in the alphabet except "x". This means there is only one chance left and although all correct letters are indicated, there is still an opportunity to get screwed up on double letters or words with the same letters but in different combinations. I also tried it in Octordle and that is the same. 5 lines are already blown with the 5 words which means that every other guess has to be correct for success. The successful score is always 76, which is quite boring. FYI, the five words are:

    BRICK (OK)
    JUMPY (OK)
    GLENT (WTF?)
    VOZHD (WTAF?)
WAQFS (That one's like your arsehole - it's not something you see every day)

Anyway, a milestone for me in Wordle today:

    Sent me scurrying on line:

Glent - uncertain, a few different definitions including a quick look, moving obliquely or the past of Glint.

    Vozhd - a Russian leader

A waqf, also known as hubous or mortmain property is an inalienable charitable endowment under Islamic law. It typically involves donating a building, plot of land or other assets for Muslim religious or charitable purposes with no intention of reclaiming the assets

Honestly, that is just gaming the system.

FFS you missed one. -Bricks - Bricks are rectangular blocks of baked clay used for building walls, which are usually red or brown. Brick is the material made up of these blocks.

its one I only use when I have that configuration. Every guess I attempt to solve. I see on your second word you just tried a shotgun approach with no chance of being right.

I think you were damn lucky to get it in 3
