Ban Chang Nightlife has it improved

Hello all, I'm new here but pretty familiar with Ban Chang and Pattaya....I haven't been there in about a year and wondering how the Night Life is lately on the Ban Chang Strip...(ok its only a few blocks long lol) Last time I was there they were building some shop building across the street from the bars....

Also when I was there last time I actually saw some ladyboys working the bars in Ban Chang....maybe it will become a little Pattaya...lol

Hello and welcome.

I was there last night and it is much the same as normal with the shops across the street finshed and about 30% occupied.

I was in the Camel Bar and the governor was in another bar and there was another 2 farang in there.

Walked down the street and poked my head into a few bars and they were almost all empty.

Personally I like the place and prefer it to walking the streets of downtown Pattaya. There are a few new bars and the others have been mostly renovated.

Didn't spot any Katoeys but not that I was looking for them either!

Harem used to have a couple of LBoys working, that was before the shooting. Mamasan reckoned they were better workers.

Harem has since moved over to the old U & I location in KiloSip (Km10)
The scene in town is dead now.

The remaining expats that do hang out there have become like old women, gossiping about whoever is not in the room at the time.

Most of the LBs around are just cashiers.
Rabbit bar & Nasa have LB cashiers.

The Good Time bar on the back side of the Strip has one LB that's not a cashier though, & he's actually convincing. A friend of mine nearly took him upstairs for a ST until I told him it was a guy.

There's a few places there I avoid like the plague :

The Bar
Candy bar
Mama's (formerly Papa's)
Beaver bar

Candy & The Bar have some exceptionally lazy staff & they let their TBFs hang around out front with their children in tow.

Mama's has an evil woman running it. She gets violent when she gets drunk which is pretty much all of her waking hours.

Beaver has a nutcase running it. Last I heard he was walking around town with a baseball bat trying to confront some guy suspected of calling one of his BGs on the phone & being rude to her.

Ban Chang used to be a nice, relaxed scene for golfers and local expats, and a nice change from Pattaya- but then it shot itself in the foot by constantly raising prices, incidences of surly service, agressive bar tactics and even a few rip-offs. Last thing I knew it was more expensive than Pattaya, but maybe it's trying to get back it's reputation these days. Ruined by Greed, basically.

Basically, the Strip has too many bars. There is always some fool who will buy into one after it goes tits-up for the umpteenth time. Everyone has their favourites, but I'd rather go mongering in Pattaya these days, and keep one or two places on the Strip as "locals" only.

He still married to her she wants eveything the house his cars but his got all papers needed and her lawyer has walked out on her cause she knocked back the best deal that she would have got now hes not seen very often. she took all his music and smashed 2 guitars. BITCH
