Pattaya - Soi Diamond - Club Insomnia

I think club Insomnia is a relatively new place on Soi Diamond, it is supposedly a gentlemans club, hmmm, in Pattaya, I think we lack in gentlemen, anyway the place is nicely done out, on the second floor is the "mile high lounge", obviously the dance floor upstairs is glass or perspex as seems to be the trend nowadays, trouble is the glass dance floors are too small and recessed so you really got to lean forward if you want to have a perve, makes it a bit obvious to everyone then that you are just as lecherous as they are

Happy hour beers are 55baht, and go up to 95baht, but the lovely young lady gave us VIP cards for next time, the music isn't too loud but it weren't stuff I had ever heard before, nor was it music that I would waste my bandwidth on downloading for free

The girls, with this being a gentlemans club tend to dress up in what could be mistaken for evening wear and evening dresses, although some of them looked like they had been sleeping in them for a few days, luckily they take them off and get naked whilst dancing

A good thing they do is give you "Insomnia Dollars" you get 10 of them in your, erm, the thing that holds the bills, what the fok are they called? anyway each one is worth 20baht, ie they will add 20baht for each one you use, now if you want a girl to sit with you you just wave a "Insomnia Dollar" at her, probably best to give it to her as a tip I think when she sits with you, I think that is expected, well I thought it was a good idea
Also they had Jack Ass on the tv, not really sure if I think that is a great program or not, some of it is hysterical, and, well some of it probably appeals to Americans but most people would consider it pretty pathetic.

It was pretty empty last night, no idea what time I was there, before midnight though, then again the whole of Walking Street was a bit like a ghost town, they aint making much money this year then again the Windmill was pretty packed

Strange how places change with time, I often sit for a quiet drink in Plamers on Soi Pattayaland 2 that place used to be buzzing but not any more. Could do with a face lift I guess.
