    Stray dogs menacing Kratinglai Beach
    By Warapun JaikusolJanuary 26, 20180372

Tourists are complaining about packs of stray dogs creating a menace on Kratinglai Beach.

Beach-goers claim that as many as 100 wild dogs can be found on the shore, some of them which viciously chase people.

Visitor Ladda Kerdsuriyon said Kratinglai is one of her favorite getaway spots, as it offers lots of shade and was recently redeveloped.

However, the view is being spoiled by the threat posed by stray dogs, she said. She blames people who adopt cute puppies and then dump them on the beach when they grow up.

In addition to the threat from being bitten, the dogs have left behind smelly piles of waste everywhere and no one is cleaning it up.

She called on local authorities to send the dog catchers to the beach

Nice little beach that - we used to have a stroll along it when the car was being serviced.

I didnt risk it, had a puff in the carpark and stuck the nub in my pocket in case some slippery fucker was lurking and after a cut of the 100,000.

I think it may be just the Koh Chang region that doesnt have a beach smoking ban. Probably because Cambodia and Vietnam are downstream

Quit smoking? Makes life a lot easier. Also, with no smoke and stench clogging your airways, you can enjoy the smell of sewerage and rotting garbage all the more on that beach.

Would have been tempted to take that lab and give it a home.

Those beach dogs sure do have personality.

Ko Samed beach is the same, loads of them.

The local Thais won't harm them through fear of bad kharma, that's what i heard from anyway.

Gosh it is a Lab, heh? Or certainly a high percentage of it is.

Good job the missus hasn't see it or else it would be on a flight here already.

Don't believe a word of it. They will sell them to the dog meat catchers for a start. Numerous cases of dogs being stabbed, burnt, slashed, bottled, beaten etc by drunk locals thinking it is fun.
