Question Trat Hwy 318 beaches (seeking info)

I've never traveled east past the ferry terminal for Koh Chang.

I'm seeking positive experiences and local knowledge of the beach communities along Trat Province Hwy 318 south to Hat Lek border crossing with Cambodia.

Along the same lines does any member have experience residing in those relatively small beach communities ?

At a later date after an initial visit I might be seeking a second house 'rental' as well if I find an area desirable understanding the relatively quiet nature of the area compared to Rayong-environs.

Thanking you in advance for any assistance that members may render along these lines.

Last year I did a run from the Cambodian border back up to Pattaya and checked out all the beaches along the way.

I found some go dam beautiful beaches, most had very little development and mostly just a few low key Bungalows that seemed to be catering to only locals.

Seems not many Farang bother to go down this neck of the woods except to enter Cambodia.

If you like quite and being out of the way it could just be the ticket.

I'm always concerned with security when living out in these places are concerned though.

I'll see if I can dig up some pics from that trip.

I don't know what beach this was . We had just pulled in after a week on the road driving down from Chaing Mai following the border.
First impressions was the White sand and people free beach.

Thank you for posting , Terry.

I guess I'll have to reconnoiter whenever I find the time as part of a major longer road expedition.

Yes, might be what I am looking for...no crocodiles though a few Cambo snappers.
