Safari Park is just about 40 kms from town along the Kanchanaburi-Bo Phloi route (highway 3086).
Not so many people know about the place. It’s been reported that they don’t have a lot of income. Less than 50 visitors a day. A former accountant cheated many millions out of the place, so the park has been having problems with feeding the animals.
Open daily from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, but tickets sold until 5:30 PM.
Visitors can drive their own cars to explore the place. But the Park also provide bus service for free.
Be careful here because, either in bus or your own car, the animals will poke their heads in for some food.
Admission fee for adults is 120 baht, and for children is 70 baht.
The Park also sells food for the animals for 20 baht per bowl at the entrance.
At the centre of the park is the central pavilion restaurant and show arena. The restaurant itself sits overlooking a lake and is a good spot for a cold drink before heading off to see one of the many daily animal shows.
