Sounds interesting, if I hadn't'd started my health kick last night (carried on today with my second session on the nordic skier and some sensible eating...) then I'd be after some of that.

I find it hard to drink Thai beers. The Carlsberg I got recently is the same... If I'm at a pub with Guinness than I'll be on that for sure; otherwise, I think I'll stick to wheatbeers; several decent ones can be found in Bkk. Much lighter, smoother, tastier and generally more pleasant in every way excepting the cost.

I'll give this one a go though.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Fresh as a daisy with a coffee and freshly baked croissant on me balcony.

Must have been half pissed as I got Scoozi delivery.

Will be consuming this beverage again.

I had to drink a Chang last night as the Singha was gone, it was horrible

maybe the new Chang Export is better; why do they call it "export" if it is sold here?

I think that is a myth, but I had just one last night and felt terrible, but maybe that was the MSG loaded in the Chinese food I also had

Actually, they're two different brews Andrew.
Export [let alone the "new"] has always been superior because it's pure beer.

    * Chang domestic is everything but beer - chemicals, lau, etc.

A malty introduction to the palate. Slightly bland in the mouth, not crisp like Chateau de Leo. Smooth finish. Slight hint of cloves, basil and blackberry. Should cellar well for 6 to 8 hours. Best served with red meat dishes such as buffalo or dog. A solid and worthy contender in the competitive mid price drink-till-you-hit-the-floor niche market.

That explains the lack of a hangover and the ability to eat French faggot food in the morning.

Because it's actually fit for human consumption.

I presume it's the same deal as with Singha Gold. Normal Singha isn't a real beer, it's like Bud and is made from rice and other such banned-in-first-world-countries ingredients. The Singha gold is only made with malted barley, hops, water and sugar.

I ordered the local shop owner to buy a few boxes "Hey, YOU, yes, YOU, the funny looking man with the hygiene issue", I said, "Be a good chap and stock the fridge with some of that drinkable stuff, would you"- I'm the sole consumer. No one else has bothered with it or if they have they said it's 'jeud'. Well I suppose anything would be 'jeud' after decades of downing fucking Turps for breakfast.

Tried it - horrible, really horrible.

Tastes like Chang, but with less flavour; all the horrible bits are still there though, less bubbles, lighter yes, but horrible, won't be drinking it again...
