    Marlboro Lite.
Rollies if I go to Aussie because of the Customs duties.
    250g (5 packs x 50g) at Singapore duty free is only S$22.

I smoked BULL DURHAM when was a kid, nickel a bag with papers, and the cloth bag was also nice to carry change or marbles in, Then when we were dredging in Bahrain I started smoking DRUM rolling tobacco that I got from the Dutch dredgermen that were were chartered to and we all drank together at the Middle East Hotel Bar.

    I haven't smoked in 3 months after a 10-year half-pack/pack a day habit.

One night the last cigarette made me feel so ill and weak just meditating on that moment was strong enough to keep me away.

However lately I've been dreaming about smoking, seeing others smoke and wanting to smoke but not smoking myself.

You'll know when you're ready to quit; seize that moment!

Unfortunately I'm an expert at quitting - I've done it 1000 times. I quit for 4 years before moving to Thailand. It's easy to quit back home, when I left my brand was 5 bucks a pack. In Thailand, cheap cigs, cold beer, good times...goddamn, it takes steely self discipline to get away from it.

As you said, you just gotta stop and think. Especially after having a few drinks, there's that point where you might think, "Hell, I'll just have a couple."
If feels so much better the next morning if you don't cave into that craving IMO.

These days I only smoke tobacco, preferably ready-made cigs , switched from hand-rolled or tipless to filter years ago. Gone are the heavy Sweet Afton, Woodbine and Reval coughs.
At present it's Dok Mai Daeng brand from Laos.

    Stopping smoking is for quitters.

I wish I could knock it on the head, but the benefits I feel from doing it (four days, tops) are nothing compared to that fag you've not had for a while.

I cannot understand why anyone who has the slightest bit of education would smoke. If you see the stuff on the packs, the information that tells you how you are probably going to die, sooner than you would have and nastier, why would you continue?

Yes, it is addictive but that is not something you cannot overcome.

    so why continue?
    I have reported your post
