    Chang Beer - Export

Pleasantly surprised that the 100% Malty Chang Export is now appearing in the bars here in Jomtien. Makes a change from the "ricey" usual Chang. Is this due to the beer shortage due to flooding ? Has the export market failed ?

Yes, we've already established that Chang Export is the best beer in the history of the World, ever.

My reckoning is, people will try anything after supping the other watery piss on offer in Thailand, so they are just cashing in on that.

But like the rest, you will soon bore of it

Just had a meeting with Chang this afternoon.

Chang Export was initially designed to compete with Leo, where as regular Chang is competition for Heineken. But, they said, that because of it's initial success it could be competition for Heineken. I'd be wary of making an early prediction about that because Chang export was the only thing available in a lot of shops during the floods.

They have Chang Export available in Kegs just for the Beer Garden season but if there is enough demand for it then they will release it in in Kegs in February.

    Hilarious!

Imagine setting your standards so low that you thought one of your products "could be" competition for something as shit as Heineken

I know what your saying but all the lager beers are shit.

They are just setting the standards for market share.

^ Do you have any numbers on how market share pans out?

If I were to guess I would say Leo has the market cornered and Heineken have about 3%....looking at it from a county wide perspective.
