Bobcock at Wat Phra Sri Ratanasasadaram (Wat Phra Kaew Morakot) - Again

I would have put these in the existing thread, but it wouldn't load properly, not sure why so rather than create problems for everyone, I'll start a new thread.

Been a while since I've been to Wat Phra Sri Ratanasasadaram (or Wat Phra Kaew as it is better known) / Grand Palace, not since I've had this camera in fact so over 2 years.

Good selection of pics. I try and get my experience from someone else's fab photo's.

Are you self taught? No doubt you use one of those big bulky camera's with a stand, not a ultra compact camera.

When I come to Thailand in a few weeks, I'll be revisiting the Grand Palace. We were 2 years ago, but unfortunately rained buckets for 3 hours straight.
It will be good to take a long stroll, especially after recommending to all my mates, but never having seen too much myself !
My phots wont be as good, but I'll try.

Nice pics again! I"ve been looking at some photography courses to take online. Can't wait to get started.

BTW, The detailing in the pic with the paint cans is amazing. The cans almost look 3D

Excellent photos ! I didn't know that the camera was around back in 1846. What camera are you using? You have a keen eye and are very skilled in composing the shots. When I was there I wanted to take some photos of the Emerald Buddha but wasn't comfortable taking photos inside the temple. Would the Thai people consider it offensive? Thanks for sharing your work!

It is not allowed and I didn't do it. With the right lens one can take it from outside.

Fantastic images. I've always wanted to go there, but never been appropriately attired. I'm curious what camera you use? I shoot Nikon D700, and have thought of doing something similar on here, of my wife and I's adventures on Okinawa. Not sure it would fancy anyone's attention though.

Are these all HDR shots? I like them a lot of times, unfortunately sometimes they make things gloomy.

There is only one HDR shot I think, I can't remember if I used the HDR version or not here, but I think I did.

You can tell me which one it is.
