Thread: Making merit with firecrackers! Samut Songkhram

Today, we visited a temple in Samut Songkhram. We had just pigged out at Don Hoi Lot (thread coming soon) and decided to follow the noise.


Then we had to find the lady with the firecrackers. I bought a lot of 3,000 for B440. Expensive, I know but I really needed to make some merit!

The thai merit helper placed the charges.


The string of fireworks is ready for the 'fiechek'. Cigarette lighter for most of us.

The merit making begins.

BTW, my lucky number was 88.

Damn I wish I could go to a temple and have fun like that with my wife. We do a lot more praying and prostrating. That gets old real fast if you are me!!
