Who owns/runs it?

it's written in thai as far as I'm aware and seems somehow attached to the Horizons spa and resort.
Thanks Noon, will look for Billboard.
Got the English spelling wrong.

TWEECHOL BOTANICAL GARDEN
[quote=ChiangMai noon;462292]Today, I went with the family to the Taweechon Gardens located just 11 kilometres North of the City.
I have to be honest and say I had never heard of this place in spite of it being only a 10 minute ride from my house.

did you buy an ostrich egg?
Didn't see any for sale but i did feed the ostriches. They look a lot healthier than the featherless ones in CM zoo.
The wife read some stuff in the little museum and spoke to the woman there and found out that the place is owned by an ex-minister for agriculture. There are pics of him with the King and also he was the main man during the royal ploughing ceremony in BKK mid 90s I think. Apparently he survived cancer and the park is partly his effort to give something back to the Thai people. It's financed by his mother who is 104 or something. There are quotes from Prem in the museum stating "even when you retire, think what you can give to your country" or words to that effect. This sort of answered the question in my head of why something so good isn't too commercial or expensive.
I was so impressed, I told the wife that we should take her parents next week. Now I'm home I'm thinking why did I say that - twat!
