With the Queen's birthday being a holiday we took a sneaky long weekend away. Didnt want to travel far and had the dog with us, and combined with many hotel pools being shut we headed to a beach near Pattaya.
Edit: posting pictures is a nightmare

I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic
That's the inside, obviously. Fridge, AC, toilet, shower etc. It must have been imported from the UK because it even had UK plugs.
I have to use Facebook pictures because hashtag The internet
^555, Armstrong the pikey is strong in you. Actually, i have considered a slightly nomadic life, meaning no permanent abode. Sold three places and wondering what next. Move into the boat?
Fuck knows what this attachment is
Attachment 69834
Anyway, it's a caravan that leads right onto the beach. Beach is nice, water is uncomfortably warm. Restaurant suffering from sub par covid staffing, my BBQ burgers were great, no "good" restaurants selling beer and the dog is knackered. Decent weekend away nearby BKK. I'll post more pics when I get WiFi.
^ 555 Armstrong, this is going well
^^And to think you were giving me shit recently for not being able to post pics.
Still, you do have a shower attachment.
Very nice Poo! How about details? Where, how much, and burger pictures of course.
Was there a Caravan I thread?
I do the caravan camping thing back in NZ over summer—or was prior to Covid.
Love it, especially pointing and laughing at the tenting peasants / my
mates scrambling when it rains.
Didn't know they did caravan holidays in Thailand, cheers for sharing.
What are the prices?
LOve caravans, but sadly it will be a long tine....i'm bannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnesssssssssssssssssssssssss
Tbf posting one pic of four upside down tomatoes in 15 years does warrant some Mickey takingWhen one appears to be the fountain of eternal knowledge.
Back on topic, what I witnessed last Monday was a crime against caravans.
Caravan Chaos!!!
Caravans stripped, towed and smashed up around a banger racing track.
Highly entertaining nonetheless.
Shalom
Looks like the caravan was set into the ground, so not really the gypsy lifestyle, more a cheap hotel eh? Quality thread. Any danger of telling us the location or a picture of the beach?
Armstrong, thanks for the thread.
Nice to see a Thai related travel thread on the Forum ...
Never knew there were caravans in Thailand, let alone Pattaya like that.
What made you choose that place?
---
I've got some media from the last time I was in Pattaya ... have to dig that up.
(Was also the time I met LT)
Great thread and thank you for sharing.
At least he made the effort and I love caravans.
Must be the Irish pikey blood in me!
Hammered again.
I see people just try to ignore him now, like a 'struggling' relative at the dinner table.
Probably the best way to go.
In Thailand, personally I'd say 'not so much'.
I'm not knocking it, but I'd rather be in a hotel any day. Even better - I was looking at airbnbs yesterday and some with private pools are as cheap as chips.
