I knew someone would say that. That doesn't prove that I am wrong. Just a hunch that its the same place. Me and the bar girlfriend would always hop over to Jomtien for a nice dine.

    Classic backspin logic.

I'll give you one thing though: it's definitely in Asia.

Emptying that cassette toilet container could be fun if you was that way inclined

The beauty of caravan toilets is one can multi task.

Shit, shave and shower at the same time.

Nice thread Armstrong. Love your quirky travel threads.

Nice little area that near the Glasshouse and Cafe del Mar

Didn't you do a glamping thread before?
Is this what you'd call 'tramping'?

Although you do have a proper oven rather than a cheap bbq and your kid is playing on the beach rather than looking down on it and only 100 metres away from the sea horizontally rather than vertically.

    Not just in caravans.
Many moons ago I had an 'apartment' in France where the toilet and kitchen were the same room - a curtain across the toilet.
It was possible to cook on the gas hob at the same time as carrying out the morning constitutional.

    Ah those were the days!

We tried proper camping once and it wssawful. Too hot and then too cold and then too hot and then a bad bad.

Caravans or tents with proper beds are what it's all about.

We're back for Christmas. Bigger caravan this time, same place.

    Oven, microwave and fridge

    Dog enjoyed the beach

    Fridge with the essentials.

Daughter went for the top bunk

    Short walk to the beach

    Inside

I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

Nice get away, is it busy there. Places we've been have been deserted during the week and then mainly busy with weekending Thais

Yep, Armstrong looks nothing like a pikey set up. Btw are you allowed to bring your whippets? Secondly who looks after your pigeons while you are away?
