    California, Various pics.

Thought I'd post up some random pics from out and about in California. This trip was part business, Thanksgiving and attending my youngest daughters graduation from Med School.

First and foremost I am one proud Pop. My youngest graduated with honors from med school. She is off on her anesthesiologist career and was immediately recruited to a top hospital.

As planned, I came to chow some good beef. These Ribeyes were outstanding

On another night, we BBQ'd 2 NY Strips and 1 Ribeye

Stopped by a Vietnamese restaurant to have a big bowl of Pho. Crazy, $13.95.

Wingstop lunch. These are Atomic and Habanero Mango. These will make your eyes water

Wife and I attended a colleague friend of mine Company Holiday party. Great food, open bar and good music. Staggered back to our room around 3am.

Wife snapped off a nice rainbow pic heading to Santa Rosa

Some early morning fog across the Vineyards as I walked around my parents place

Crisp clean air and love the smell of the redwoods early in morning and after a nice rain

GMC Apache that will be passed on to me at some point.

Had to tune up my Dad's motorhome. good ol reliable 454ci Chevrolet.

As the trip winds down, I look forward to returning home to Thailand. My liver will sure appreciate it.

Cheers Ant. I got both daughters through college and on their way. Now just wait for a few weddings. Youngest will be first. Probably 3 years or so. I told my family and friends this will be our last trip this way for awhile. Wife and I want to go travel to different places. I have family in Sicily that invites us to come hang.

Actually seeing the comment about anethietist it reminded me of my sister at med school. On a weekend for fun in the halls they'd have races but doctor races. It entailed drawing a line in the corridor and then they'd each take it in turns to get injected with muscle relaxant and off they'd trot to see how far down the corridor they could get before turning into mr soft and collapsing. They had to have adrenaline injections ready just in case someones heart stopped. Fukin nutters

They'd also hook themselves up to drips and oxygen if they'd hung one on and had an 18 hour shift to look forward to.
