    Onya Baz.

    Top thread idea.

I did Canada to Mexico a few years back.

Amazing how it affects your body. Couldn't eat enough food to maintain my bodyweight. Lost 8Kg from a slim start. But put it all back on at the end as the munchies do not subside until your body gets back to normal.

That is indeed a big day. I have done 160km on a bare bike but not a fully loaded tourer.

Carrying some extra weight with those bags Barrylad, must slow you down.

Then again it's not about speed, take your time and soak up the views.

Lucky b'stard, looks like a fantastic road trip.

Be safe and keep the pics coming.

Might do a similar trip myself in the future, beats cycling around sheep shagging land

I have a good friend, who lives in Chiang Mai and rides a lot.
He even rode his bike from there to Phuket 5 times.
He has written a funny book about it, called: The Hazards of Cycling in Thailand
It's on Amazon, and the kindle version is pretty inexpensive: https://www.amazon.com/Hazards-Cycli...d+ray+greenlaw

    Funny and informative.
Personally, I am too scared to ride here as the Thai drivers are too crazy. Especially in Phuket.
So, I hike instead but love the long distance stuff.
    Good thread.
    Nice pictures.
    Keep em coming.

Sounds like a great bike trip. That's some distance to ride.
I'd love to do something like that but on my Honda wave.
