It's right outside the palace....

For me, what was amazing was the scale of things....you couldn't really comprehend the size of things from watching the ceremony on TV. The facilities that were built are huge.

What,? Its pretty well known just what it is and where it is after all the hoopla of the Royal Cremation. Although getting the location spelled right would help. Sanam Luang.

Now, off to the National Museum....on 500m if we could go out the way we came in, but since you can't go where you came from, it was another 1.2 km hike.

tops you have Suan Lum which is Lumpini park, and Sanam Luang where the cremation ceremonies took place. In all honesty for living here and observing it you should be able to come closer. Sorry..... I put it down to a non Thai wife.
