Road trip, Koh Samui back to Bangkok Sep 2016, follow that beach.

In two weeks time I'm off to Perth for two months so I'm smashing this last picture thread in. Just arrived back in BKK after a blinder 9 day road trip. Flew from BKK to Suratthani picked up a motor, overnighted in Surat and next day off to Samui on the Don Sak ferry. I'll kick it off there.

So for 520 baht I got a ride on this runner, that was for the car, myself and my handbag. A great deal. I highly recommend to use Don Sak pier if you have a car. This pier is the main pier for transporting vehicles. The other pier is full of smelly Backpackers simply because it's closer to Surat. Only one and a half hours to Samui from here.

Really nice A-C gallery on Board, bunk down in Comfort and enjoy the ride. Notice the lack on Stinky Backpackers.

    Unfuckingbelievable hypocrisy!!!!

I wouldn't dream of sprawling out in a public waiting area, laying my bare feet on a seat where I know someone might be sitting.

And these folk have the sheer effrontery to warn we superior beings that to even think about pointing at their bodies with our feet is to risk the end of all Thai civilisation?!?

You should have given her a slap across the withers and woken her up, Terence. I'm ashamed of you for tolerating such a social faux pas.

I suppose it does matter how many there were in the lounge.

Assuming, the demand for couch space wasn't at a premium ... perfectly acceptable.

However, if it more sardine like, then I'd have no issue asking the lady to share.

Terry, I went to green you but apparently I have to share the love around a little more.

Err, perhaps I should have made myself plainer. In the West, only mannerless, lumpen, ignorant trash spawned by the lower end would place their bare feet or shoes on a seat (or Antipodeans).

Seeking, if you've flown on an airplane recently that has empty seats available then you must know where some stinking feet have resided after takeoff and before landing.
I won't even contemplate what is on both flat surfaces of the tray tables or the onboard lavatory surfaces.

Please be courteous and allow Terry to display pics from his trip on the thread he initiated for others to enjoy.

I thought that was quite funny.

I never have a problem with you Thegent, i think you're a right entertaining coont.

But hey, just to sooth your troubled sausage box I'll help ya out.

On the Ferry that day there was a heap of room so no probs about stealing the seating.

I also was quite distressed that my Nasty Handbag had placed her feet on the seat so that night In our room I gave her a proper bollocking.

But I'm not showing you any pictures of that.

It was heart warming to see that in 2016 Occupational Health and Safety is a high priority on Samui.

I had my first bit of entertainment in the first 15 seconds of landing. So the question was this, was the little truck trying to load more shit on to the big truck or was it the other way round. Dunno.

I had not been to Samui in six years and my Handbag had never been there. The priority was this. Away from mass tourism, room on the beach and a decent price. So go onto Booking.com a week before and find this Gaff on Bangrak beach. Never been there before but the reviews were solid and at 700 Baht a night I'm in. Booked it for 2 nights. Bloody winner it was. Kinaree Resort. 10 metres from our room we stepped onto the sand. Ended up staying here another night. Perfect for us.

The wind dropped down around 6.00 PM, we had a great evening checking out the views whilst I knocked the skin from a few Dark Laos. Went down the night market, grabbed a heap of food and had a nice picnic on the lovely beach. No one around. All Good.
