He does an alright job promoting Khao San road. He also hits Rambuttri. Disappointing he has no talking or music in that video.

The Arabic area interests me as I've never been.

Alright videos to promote Thailand and all that it encompasses, from Pattaya sexpatville to touristy Khao San road.

Geoff can turn his hand to almost anything. You wouldn't believe it but now he is a master chef. Here he is making Thai Spring Rolls, live from Carter's Kitchen! Watch your fingers, Geoff!

Damn straight. "It's goh every-fing buh ih could be beh-ahh". Yeah, it'd be beh-ahh if he fucked off back to school and learned to speak English .

That area isn't known as Jomtien Beer Garden, it's Rompho markets and the Rompho beer bars to everyone who goes there. It's ok but you wouldn't make the trip from over the hill from Pattaya if you were looking for entertainment or a decent feed. The highlight is there's a good chicken kebab stand in the markets, and that about sums it up.

Dead right! Even if you've got a 100,000 subscribers you'd be lucky to get $400 a month from google/youtube advertisers.

How much money do you get per view?
A fraction of a penny, it's not a great deal. This varies, but for reference sake, a channel can get about 3,000 views, and the owner of that channel gets back about 2 and a half dollars. However, the amount per view does vary, especially during the summer when a bunch of movie companies are advertising, and other huge dollar items start pouring in money for their system. It is highly unlikely that you can actually get a job doing this without having a side job as well but if you can, congratulations to you.

I beg to differ on your first point, he's from Warrington.

Point two - The accents of Leeds and Manchester sound very similar to me, although Northern England is notorious as a region where adjacent suburbs speak ‘different languages.’ The difference I’ve noticed the most between the two cities is found in what we call GOAT words: ‘go,’ ‘flow,’ ‘road,’ etc. In Leeds, there seems a tendency for this to be a monophthong, while in Manchester, this seems more typically a diphthong.

(To review, monophthongs are single, ‘pure’ vowel sounds, so GOAT might be something like goht, while diphthongs are combinations of two vowel sounds, so GOAT might sounds like goh-oot, guh–oot, or geh-oot depending on your accent.)

Have a Merry Christmas ye ole Peacock
Aye, Leeds has got that West riding harshness to it that you get in Manc, which seems to have a bit of the scouse rasp to it.
Odd how Bradford is in-between and more about the rolled Rs like udduzfiyuld, and nowt like the burr of other parts of wrongcashire. I prefer the more bucolic lilt of the dales, and the more nasalised vowels of the north riding generally.

    On another note, Re taxexile
Why people don't wear plastic belts and shoes for airports I don't understand - it's such an arse fiddling with belts and that. I'm getting more and more zenlike as security palavas increase - om the the verge of just going in a jumpsuit with a sandwich bag and having my clothes posted to me.

At least he doesn't take himself too seriously or claim to have a hi-so wife.
That's why Geoff's ok in my book.

    He'll never get on mastermind
