excellent report , shagnasty, living in Laos ( shit roads) im always impressed with the roads in thailand when we cross the border,
Nice pics Shaggy, respect for doing that on a scoot!

You're right - some of the roads here are great, and on this trip I was pleased to see more work being done (north and south) to make things even better.
When I think of riding in Laos I think of trails or at least broken road/trails. Laos is an awesome bit of nature and very different to Thailand too climate/topography wise - will be great when they sort out the roads
Nice one Tony.Originally Posted by TonyBKK
Doing it on a scooter wasn't that bad, as the point was indeed the journey and several lungfulls of fresh air
Having said that - obviously the trip would have been that bit better if I'd had a better bike - goes without saying.
Plenty of time left ( I hope )
nice trip, great to get out on the open road !!
i did a quite similar trip back in July but by car 35 days, 7,200 kms and took in Laos and Cambodia.https://teakdoor.com/thailands-travel...-cambodia.html (Massive trip thru Thailand/Laos/Cambodia)

Is it just me or have Shaggy's pics disappeared?
^ Yes, disappeared. Gone south.
Did you accidentally delete them, Albert ? Or what ?
Yes the pics are gone. Looked like some cloud provider had erased linked photos but they seem to be... had been... in TD storage? A Glitch?
Hopefully you can get them back online, sounds interesting.
