    Clockwise.
    Left BKK and did first leg down to Surat on overnight train.

    750bt for me - 2nd class air sleeper.

    excellent report , shagnasty, living in Laos ( shit roads) im always impressed with the roads in thailand when we cross the border,

    You're right - some of the roads here are great, and on this trip I was pleased to see more work being done (north and south) to make things even better.

    When I think of riding in Laos I think of trails or at least broken road/trails. Laos is an awesome bit of nature and very different to Thailand too climate/topography wise - will be great when they sort out the roads

    Doing it on a scooter wasn't that bad, as the point was indeed the journey and several lungfulls of fresh air

    Having said that - obviously the trip would have been that bit better if I'd had a better bike - goes without saying.

    Yes the pics are gone. Looked like some cloud provider had erased linked photos but they seem to be... had been... in TD storage? A Glitch?

    Hopefully you can get them back online, sounds interesting.
