Who did the narration at the end of this video ? It sounds like Zach Galifianakis from "The Hangover II", but I don't remember him saying that.

Nice videos of beaches and what not but spoiled a bit by the ugly bogan.

    Narration was wanky.

    Dangerous? oh dear.

I thought it was an excellent video and I will share it with friends back home. Single guys with oil jobs who can live wherever they want but still stay back in The Granite Shitty. Never been further that Spain... every year!

If I had made this I'd be getting myself onto it too it it was for personal use. Hey, you could always edit yourself out and sell it as a 'Visit Thailand' tourism campaign!

    Keep up the good work!

I would not have guessed a high-end full-frame DSLR to be a first choice for a videographer. Did you buy it mainly for video?

I must eat my own words and hat. Obviously a serious videography tool if you can get RAW video out of it. I didn't even know RAW was something video folks went in for.

Magic Lantern enables Canon 5D Mark III Raw video output: Digital Photography Review

Camera feature modifier Magic Lantern has developed a version of its software enabling 24fps Raw video output from the Canon EOS 5D Mark III. This news has grabbed videographers' full attention as it allows for individual frames of 14 bit output, yielding a much wider dynamic range than you'd get from standard 8 bit video files. The Raw-video code isn't yet publicly available, but EOSHD's Andrew Reid has got his hands on an early, development-stage version of the software.

As always, even once made public, Magic Lantern warns that its software has been created by reverse engineering and cannot be guaranteed 100% safe. The camera output isn't in any standard format but it should be possible to transcode it into a more conventional format, such as CinemaDNG.

Thing is, there are now three threads in this part of the forum which are more or less the same thing. Might have been better keeping it all to one thread.

Another thread like this and it would probably be considered as spamming.

After reading this thread I found a brand new 5D III on an ebay online camera store with 24-105 L lens for $475. I bought and paid for it hoping the shop would not realise they had missed a zero off the end of the price before posting.

This morning they have contacted me to say sorry but the deal is off. Then I got to thinking, if they had posted the camera and then asked for it back and I refused would that be shop-lifting since I knew the price was wrong?

Anyway no deal so no moral dilemma for me and they have offered a 16GB class 10 card and some little things as free compo.

I googled it once, scrapped that idea completely then went to research the GoPro which I have decided to buy next time I'm at duty free.

That would have been a cracking deal, pity it didn't slip through!

Hi Sunny. I watched all your videos on U-Tube. Some are hilarious. Really liked your Road Movie Videos. Make more! I have toured many of the areas you & Bum videoed, so enjoy your experiences. Bum seems to be a good driver.
