Pattaya Cross Bay Swim; Still Time To Enter

PATTAYA CROSS BAY SWIM; STILL TIME TO ENTER
There is still time to enter the Annual Pattaya Cross Bay Swim, which is a charity event organised by the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya. This year it will be held on Sunday 15th November and swimmers have a choice of two distances: 3.5 Km cross bay swim or the shorter 1.1 Km shoreline swim.

The event is held to raise funds for their many children’s fund project both around Pattaya and up-country.

Registration closes on Sunday 8th November, so there is still time to enter. In the past, we have had swimmers from 8 to 76 take part and from all walks of life: Expats and Tourists, Teachers and Students, business people and retirees. Last year there was even a Royal Thai Navy team. All nationalities are welcome.

Sponsors: Get you corporate logo on our Events shirts and banners. Donations for individual are also welcome, from the smallest amount to the largest. It all goes to a good cause, and remember Rotarians give their time FOR FREE!

For more information see Pattaya Cross Bay Swim by Rotary Club of Jomtien Pattaya or ring Graham Hunt-Crowley on 08 1340 8852

Is the winner the one who swallows the least turds, or the most?

I could make the swim no problem without any time constraints but the sun would kill me. The sun is the real danger in this event for whiteys like me. I hope it is at least slightly cloudy for the sake of the swimmers

Just ask people to sponsor you to stick your head in the toilet and flush it. Same result

"More French to swim alongside the Germans are encouraged to participate" say event promoters. No sponsorshit necessary, just floater tasting and sampling, all fwee!

well . . . I considered entering this event; judging by above comments the water quality may be . . . lumpy?
Is it really that bad/polluted? Not keen on an hour in 'that' if there's a genuine health risk.
    thanks G61
