Yes, fantastic sunset at Surin beach...I wonder...if that ageing American gentleman is still serving at the beach...that's some guy with energy running to & fro the bar serving drinks in the heat of the day ?:o

Red sky at night; shepherd's delight. Only if he likes thunder and lightning, because that's what I got a couple of hours later.
The summers at home are definately better - if the conditions are right. Otherwise its a grey day slowly turning dark :( I think you are, on average, bound to get a better sunset in Thailand.
My 1st pic was at home, about 8.40 one june evening, a few years ago.
this one is particularly nice

There is an easy way to remember Hilly - it gets dark after sunset and lighter after sunrise. :)Quote:

Oh, I forgot to say a public "wow" for your photos, Colonel. They are fantastic, as always. Could you please show some more river photos?
This one not sure me or someone else took but it's from a boat trip with my Malaysian friend in Ayutthaya.

^Wat Chai Wattanaram.
Not exactly Thailand, but was taken on my last night in the Cape. Sunsets like this make me miss Africa.
