just got back from a 4 day break in Chai Lao. Stayed about 100 m from dans burgher bar. He closes low season (now) But I saw and spoke with him. I wanted to know where an english customer of his was drinking. He phoned him and arranged a meet. Dan lived in the USA for 30 years, so his english is 100%
The resort we stayed was 500b per night. No fridge. Beautiful setting, with trees and flowers all over. very clean with unintrusive staff. this was my 3rd trip there in 6 months.
