Bang Saray Beach - Chonburi Province

Bangsaray is about 20kms South of Pattaya and is a real quiet beach, ie no touts or anything at all, hell you might even get bored here, the beach is ok and the sea is clean.

Bang Saray has a couple of Thai style Karaoke Bars, ie tatty old single shop houses with a few available girls hanging around outside, the obvious 7/11 or two, by the fishing boats and on the piers it has several Sea Food restaurants where you can decide which animal gets it and is cooked up for your dinner,(the animals are alive and kept in tanks), if you turn right when you hit the beach there are a couple of large open air SeaFood restaurants set back from the sea.

Also Bang Sare has a scuba diving company called Khram Marine Fishing and Diving, and they rent out push bikes there.

If you travel to the northern most point of the beach and follow the road round towards Sukhumvit you will come to an elephant camp, not sure if its worth watching the show or going for a ride on one though as it all looks a bit shabby, pictures to be posted later on.

As you can see today really wasn't a sunbathing day, still it makes a change.

For fishing the southern part of Bang Saray is the best as it is deeper, the northern part has a nice park.

There are some boats for rent and also some banana boats for a bit of fun.

Obviously people still have houses over the sea.

Later on was quite a bit later on anyway today I went back to Bang Saray and took some more pictures, this time with blue skies, also took a load of videos aswell got to admit I am not sure if the elephant park is open or even if this is an elephant camp, maybe they just keep the bad tempered elephants here, ie the ones that enjoy crushing people to death.

A Mahouts and Elephants house, doesn't seem very homely to me.

    Bang Saray Squid Boats

The squid boats go out at night to catch the little buggers to put on our tables and Thai's floors, as you can see they are covered in lights to attract the Squids, hmmm, that doesn't look pluralised to me.

This is one of Bang Sarays main streets, as you can see it hasn't been designed for 10 wheel trucks.

With this part of the beach it's probably best to bring your own deckchairs/towels and drinks, aint nobody here to serve you.

All the way between Jomtien and Bang Saray they are building new condos, one about 10km from Jomtien proudly displays its prices of the condos being built, from only 50,000baht per square meter, certainly priced me out of the condo market unless I want to buy a broom cupboard sized one

Here is a picture of 3 of the Karaoke places, further down the road heading towards the beach is a new bar called The Local which had a few farangs sitting outside it.

Changed a lot since I used to live there. Heard they got rid of that stinky pig farm used to be off to the south of the road leading in from Sukhumvit (road to Sattahip). Always thought it was kinda good that pig aroma was around as it put developers off from the place.
Cheers DD for posting this thread.

Hi guys any updated non developer pics and experiences these days?
This thread is still high on google search.

Condo prices online seem close to half what Pattaya is these days.
