What the hell am I doing living in poxy Jomtien :(
ok, special top tips for " Teak Door " members. ya go down to the beach on Phi Phi and hang around like a gumby . in about 2.5 seconds a boat man will come running up to you and want to rent you his boat with him driving, for 50 quid. You say bolliks twat mate, im only a tight arse backpacker and offer him 800 baht for a nice tour and a days snorkling . between a few of you its piss all. See those hanging trees behind the boat ? theres a lovely family hiding in there enjoying a top day out. :)

the water's shallow and one can stand up. don't tell every bugger i give you that info. cheers
Great pix Terry. Def. on the todo list.
this cave is well worth a visit but watch out for the bat and bird shit.
its famous for the harvesting of birds nests and the silly buggers climb well inside the caves on those poxy bamboo poles.
they sell the birds nests for a squillion quid, so its well worth the effort i suppose.
also has painting's from when cave men, pirates and every other plonker used to live in them.

anyway punters, i hope you enjoyed my tour of krabi and the outer islands.
its a great place, but be sure to steer well clear of the high season as its choka full with the punting public and is shite.
these photos were taken in april last year at the end of the high season.
most tourist bail out by march.

you take your chances with the weather at this time but you might be lucky and crack it like we did. cheers.
Great pics Terry - will have a dig over the weekend and find the pics that I have of Phi Phi before the Tsusumi.
Going to have to go round giving people greens before I can give you another :)

This is photo of Phi Phi beach front one year after the big wave. I was also there a year or so before and this area was full of really nice bungalows and gardens. All completely gone in this photo, a horrible sight to see after knowing what was there and all the life that would have been lost.
Shit, I re sized the photo and now it is to small. The original was to big to save in the gallery. Any advise on saving big pixals photos into the gallery to post?? Thanks
