    ^^Yup, it is Chang.
    ^No idea, I didn't even notice. What a twit.

Great scene on New Year's Eve over Chaweng beach. Got asked numerous times to attend the apparently popular Full Moon party on Koh Phangan, but declined. If I had more time before flying back I would have checked the madness out. Just another thing to check off my list.

Thanks for those photos of Chaweng Noi PB. The beach and that little creek don't seem to have changed. Looks good. I thought it would have been all built up. Is that a lot of buildings up on the hill in the background?

Our daughter was staying at the resort next door to you at the same time you were there. Her and her boyfriend also did the ang thong kayaking trip and had a great time. Enjoying your thread.

^^Thanks.. there are a lot of resorts on the hill, and along Chaweng Noi there are many swanky resorts. I should have taken some pics. I remember seeing this gorgeous resort with pool bar and the name had luxurious in it. I looked into staying on the hill, but it would have been a nuisance having to take the bus everyday to the beach/town. I felt far enough out as I was.

Crocman.. thanks and Im' glad your daughter enjoyed her trip. Who knows, perhaps we crossed paths at some point.

I went to the Resort's New Year's buffet. They had traditional Thai music and some interesting games for both the adults and the children.

I love how the Thais can do these vegetable carvings so well.

    Just wonderful stuff.

The had a ladyboy on .. who also ran around the crowd flirting with everyone.

They played a game where they had guys from the audience go up on stage and were given a bottle of Chang to see who could drink it the fastest. Only in Thailand would you see this type of game on stage. lol. A friend of mine got up, but couldn't drink it fast as it wasn't Heinekin.

Thanks for share your experiences with us

My sister and her husband planning for a honeymoon trip to Koh Samui. Almost done all arrangements including booking agency as "Magic Day Co. Ltd". I will share this information regarding these locations as they can experience the natural environment.
