Centara Anda Dhevi Resort & Spa Krabi

Just spent a week in Krabi.

Centara Anda Dhevi Resort & Spa Krabi

    I think we paid 1500bht a night.

The hotel is nicely located, y'know.. near stuff and not too much of a walk to other stuff.

Looks nice and posh and the people who worked there were great with the daughter. Always willing to play and amuse her while we scoffed some food.

Good facilities as well, massive bonus for having a childrens soft play room.

Room was good, cot for the daughter which she loved cos it had chickens on the bed sheets (she loves chickens, no, I don't know why)

We used the sofa cushions as a small sit down and watch Sesame Street area. (the TV has a USB port)

Breakfast was great (apparently, I don't do breakky). Restaurant menu was quite limited and at the "Cowboy Evening" they had lots of meat but no potatoes which was quick frankly horrific.

Plus the 'Free Flow Beer' promo was 500bht for 2hours and it was cans of Chang. Took a lot of commitment to get my moneys worth out of that bastard and I felt it it the morning.

Pool was nice and big, although I've got an ear infection from it so been deaf for about 4days now. Got me a nice rubber ring to play with anyway..

It's a short walk to the Longtail boat place to go to The Beach place, I forget the name. Famous, Leonardo Di Caprio... anyway, worth it. Daughter loved it. Longtail ride didn't seem that safe and the waves were mental going back so I was glad I was a few beers in to keep me calm. (daughter slept through it)

First restaurant we got to didn't sell beer which was a fucker. Blue tables. Watch out for that. Had already ordered food so I had a fat coke.

    Not busy either

That's my sandcastle, she was fucking useless at it.

Nice place, not much to do with a toddler but relaxing. Spent most of our time led on our back with a bottle in our hand so that was nice.

probably more to do when she's older.

    fin.
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

Sounds great... Lots of beer in Krabi, I spent ages there years back and was pissed every day. Just check the bars first!

Krabi is nice, good choice. I can't believe you tried to take credit for your daughter's sandcastle, that's abuse that is, if you were in England she could call the social services and have you arrested...
    Cycling should be banned!!!

When I tell my kids off or used the forbidden word, "NO" it is usually followed by the comment, 'if you don't like it call childline, here's the number'
So far they have not called my bluff.

It's only a matter of time, Chas - you can only play Russian roulette so many times...
