SBF, are there no cheap laundrys where you are? I would only bother washing my smalls myself in LoS as I wouldn't think it fair to inflict them on anyone else.

Sorry mate. This was a strictly fly in/fly out and apart from a 1 hr lunch with MtD was the only socialising that I did really.

Will be back in 3 months with more spare time on my hands.

i have never used a laundry in singapore. there's certainly nothing nearby, and if there was i am sure it would be expensive.

anyway i do have shared use of one of these toploader washing machines in the apartment. You just whack everything in, press go and after a few spins it somehow decides what it should do. i like it because if it spoils my clothes i can blame the machine rather than my own choice of settings.

At least you got your priorities right. No point wasting time on the Aussie riff-raff.

    Hi Danbo,

Nah this is their second, I did the excact same trip at the same time last year. The flying home was easier as they sort of knew what to do at the airports/immigration etc plus for some reason we were able to communicate a whole lot better this time as well.

They have just woken up after a huge sleep and are in the back yard squatting over a pok pok full of chilli!
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

I thought the best thing about having thai in-laws is that they are too far away for a quick visit.

^ Mate I have got this sorted.

They come over here at work for the 3 months with my brother. They reimburse me for all the tickets and go home with a pocket full of money and therefore no need to ask for a hand out anymore.

I get to trips to Thailand and all it costs me is food and board for them for three months.
