    Malta anyone?

I am flying there tomorrow and will be there for a week.

Hopefully I should get a bit of free time.

Anyone got any recommendations on what to see/do?

    Cheers

Havent been there since I was about 15 but used to love the place. If youre into photography theres loads of stuff to get pix of. Quite a lot of history based stuff.

I might go back to Valetta when Ive got time, nice place.

    Mdina !
    Gotta go there
    Perfectly preserved walled town .

    Go in the main gate
First lane to the left ( against the walls)
Just down there is a restaurant that is bloody great - about 50 meters on the left hand side !
Into older things then have a tour of the prehistoric temples and sanctuaries ( a Taxi driver will do it all for you at very reasonable cost )
More recent - the Brit War cemiteries make you think
But ! gotta do the tours of the Valetta forts !
    Enjoy !

Beautiful place I was there last May and stayed at the Intercontinental it is very nice. ExxonMobil paid for it so I don't know the costs. The beaches are nice but small. The nightlife is great and the local women stunning. I even met a Thai working woman there, one of my colleges had befriended her (hmm hmm) I didn't know she was Thai but had a good feeling. She wore a light top and I noticed she was cold so I asked her in Thai. She couldn't believe it at we started talking to each other in Thai.
For the most honest and reliable taxi driver in Bangkok plz call Mr. Weerasat (Wee) 089-238-1918. He has an Izuz SUV and has been our neighbor and family friend for over 10 years.

The thing I remember most about Malta is their driving, oh, and I got bitten by a sand fly, had a real bad reaction to that beasty.
