For Americans Priceline seems to be the way to go. They sure have done me well planning a vacation to the states. Deeply discounted car rental and hotels to go along with air.

With Ebookers I check their prices. Take all the details of the flight I want and then compare it to the Airlines own website. Ebookers I've always found to be cheaper.

Used Thaifly and they done what was expected.

Mate swears by a place called DD Travel(?) on Khao San (been using them for around a decade) and has never had a problem.

Another mate got a good price back to Blighty using a new player in town that's located on Ramkhamhaeng 24/1 (Google it?).

In the end I used Momondo.com rtn to blighty for 534 quid which is the least have paid for a long time. Actual cost 155 the rest is tax and charges, no wonder the airlines struggle.

    ^ Thats a fair price.
Some can be cheaper such as Oman air, with an 8hr wait in an Indian shithole airport total time of flight is over 24hrs in some cases!

Thanks for the link Xanax. Very useful to have a decent comparison with Skyscanner cheers.

Not much difference when you take exchange rates into account. I recently searched Skyscanner and found a great deal on Sri Lankan, but when I got to the Sri Lankan site there were add ons which made the deal uncompetitive.

Only time I have had that issue with skyscanner.
