5 hours in Seoul, S Korea.

I'm planning a trip to California in April which will include an 9 hour stopover at incheon Airport.

No way I'm going to sit there with a wife and two teenagers so I need to find something to do. I reckon we'll get about 5 hours in Seoul itself.

Anyone have any ideas for something to do, markets, attractive buildings are what we are interested in.

Seoul revamped their river area in the last few years. I've not seen it since finished but have heard it is a nice place to spend the day sightseeing. April should be good weather.

Back in September I spent a few evenings in Itewon, mainly because I could find a screen with my sport showing. Plenty of shops and market stalls around

i just asked a korean colleauge and she reckons get a bus to the city hall area. apparently its pedestrianized, clean and the grand palace and whatnot is there. also loads of cafe's etc.
however she is Korean but very, very normal too
i will bear no legal responsibility for this advice

As for Seoul, dunno. Not a fan really. My most memorable experience there was having a bizzare conversation with a young US Marine who told me he had signed up to find a drummer for his band.
